Warrior Program - Veteran K9

Service Dog Process:

Call 901-466-2886 let operator know you are a veteran and want to enroll into the Warrior program
Have your proof of service ready to email to info.warriorprogram@gmail.com
Operator will fill out a brief intake form and set up your account.
For those that need to be placed with a dog: Operator will schedule a home visit/For those that have your own dog: Operator will schedule an assessment at a local tractor supply, home depot etc.
Operator will collect your deposit and get you set up for monthly invoicing.
Veterans will attend group classes with their dog to learn all the steps with their dog.

*Please be aware dogs that are being placed with veterans will stay at our Purpose 4 Paws Camp until completion of program.

TOTAL COST FOR PROGRAM: $5000

*Monthly payments of $250 automatically withdrawn on 1st of every month. MUST keep card on file.*

In our Warrior Program, we supply veterans the opportunity to be placed with a service or emotional support dog at a reduced rate. These veterans go through training learning how to regulate themselves with their dog while working through tough things in their personal lives. Working with direct referrals from case workers, etc we strive to help each veteran transition onto a new fuller life with their dog beside them.

Applicant must be referred by a caseworker and have a completed referral form

Satisfactory Score

Applicants are subject to a home visit and must receive a satisfactory score

Our training procedure includes three parts: group classes, one-on-one training and completion of a training workbook at home. Handlers are guided through specific steps designed to prepare them for their final evaluation and PAT test.
